With the Lions losing on Christmas Day in Minnesota, the NFC playoff field is nearly set. The NFC's postseason qualifiers are the Seahawks, Bears, Eagles, Rams, 49ers, Packers, and the eventual winner of the NFC South.

The 49ers and Rams are both still alive for the NFC West title. Both of them already clinched playoff spots. Detroit is in must-win mode on Christmas Day. The Lions have to beat the Vikings and then must receive help from the Ravens in Green Bay to survive until Week 18.

Heading into Week 16, only two playoff spots had been clinched in the NFL, but that number has now shot up to 10, which means there are still four spots up for grabs as the season heads into Week 17.
