Yesterday's Wordle answer (game #1609) was… LURID. I'm not sure I've ever had a luckier second guess than I did here, and it made this game a bit of an easy and formulaic affair for me. It looks like I'm not the only one to have had a straightforward time of it, though – at least judging by its average score of only 3.6.
